Absolutely right, I do agree with your post. By the way I am a member of Baptist Church at Sacramento. Our church use church calendar software designed by Congregation Builder, It is really good software to use. It gives us Camp Management, Church Web Calendar & Event Registration.

The answer to the question of this article is simple. The large majority of people believe the religious explanations for reality, especially their own. We must grow beyond the notion that what is called religion is any different than the ancient beliefs we now try to separate into an old, respectable, literary category called mythology. Religion is mythology in its latest dress. Picture papal events with all their costumes and rituals, they deserve ridicule, not respect. Because the majority of people, as a result of their mental/academic laziness, are still stuck in religion, the latest mythology, is a measure of religion’s popularity that has nothing to do with deserving respect.

At least religion. One still must study and think in order to live any kind of meaningful life, and that’s philosophy, not physics or any other department of science–though it is vital to consider all the sciences in one’s study and thinking.
